What is the IRPT?

The IRPT is a database and interactive dashboard that tracks payments made by resource companies to Indigenous governments and organizations across Canada since 2017 for the development and extraction of natural resources.

By aggregating reported payments under Canada’s Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act (ESTMA), the IRPT delivers unique insight into the financial compensation flowing to Indigenous organizations.
